I recently had the pleasure of staying at Sonne Garni in Hinterzarten, and I must say, the experience exceeded all my expectations. From the moment we arrived, the hospitable hotel owner ensured every need was met - even personally securing us a parking spot and offering invaluable local insights. The level of cleanliness and comfort in the hotel was exceptional, making it a true home away from home for my family, including our little ones and grandmother. The stunning views from our room and the delicious breakfast spread added an extra special touch to our stay, making it truly memorable.What truly stood out to me was the attention to detail in ensuring a seamless and enjoyable stay. The staff's professionalism and friendliness made us feel not just like guests, but like part of a warm Bavarian family. The soundproofed rooms provided a peaceful retreat after our days of skiing in Feldberg, and the cozy sitting area was perfect for unwinding with a cup of coffee from the nearby Café Backerei & Konditorei Unmussig or enjoying a quiet moment on the terrace overlooking the garden. The flat-screen TV and comfortable carpeted floors added to the overall charm of the room, creating a welcoming ambiance that was hard to leave. To the exceptional accommodations, the proximity to charming local restaurants like Imbery, Holzschopf bei Franco, and Thomahof added convenience and variety to our dining experiences. I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel to anyone seeking an authentic Bavarian getaway in a picturesque setting, as it truly embodies the essence of Bavarian hospitality and charm.
